Description

A simple brass frame embraces a pale moon, capturing one phase of the lunar cycle under a magnifying clear glass. And in the dark, your chosen moon phase brightens with a faint blue light.

☾ The central decor of this elegant and minimalist ring measures about 12 mm in diameter (0,47''), the brass band is adjustable (US size 6.75 to 8) and each moon phase (New moon included) glows in the dark after a proper charge time under uv light.

☾ This unique ring is perfect as part of a collection to be worn on multiple fingers, or as a single: to take note of the moon which shone on a special moment, or to celebrate the phase of life that a particular moon embodies. The ring comes in a black paper box, ready to be gifted.

☾ For this project I choose to rearrange a brass finding ring setting by painting it by hand with a mixture of fine silver acrylic and glow in the dark pigment, before sealing the design under a clear glass cabochon.
