Midnight ⚶ A spectral light reverberates from inside his polished crow skull: the deepest blue melts into black and sparks cyan glares.

⚶ This tiny reproduction of a crow skull measures 2,3x1,2 cm (0.9x0.47 inches) and it's resting on an silver plated adjustable ring (US size 6.75 to 8 or 7.75 to 9). The skull is wrapped at its base in vibrant blue hemp cord, and it's the central piece of this unique ring.

⚶ When I started designing this project I wanted to recreate the magic of the northern lights on a small piece of wearable jewelry. I found the perfect base to work on, for the aurora effect, in this tiny crow skull mold, which I purchased from a craft supply store. After a few experiments I found the right combination to evoke the northern lights by casting a matte resin on iridescent foil sheets. After the crow skull is completed I hand paint the last shades, connect the ring base and add some hemp cord wrapping for the final organic and “witchy” touch.
