Mythic Hydra

A jet black raven skull is nestled on a black metal ruff. Polished as a verse from a dark poem, Dark rhyme has a neat and yet elegant design.

This tiny reproduction of a crow skull measures 2,3x1,2 cm (0.9x0.47 inches) and it's resting on an black metal adjustable ring (US size 6.75 to 8). The skull is wrapped at its base in black cotton cord, and it's the central piece of this unique ring.

This sophisticated yet easy to wear ring is the perfect choice for an everyday gothic style. It comes in a black paper box, ready to be gifted.

For this project I worked with a raven skull mold I purchased from a craft supply store. I worked the metal of the ring setting to create the illusion of a ruff, and then added a cotton cord wrapping at the base of the skull.
